This campaign received a 5000 £ micro-grant by Healthy Food Healthy Planet via Sustain's Food For the Planet micro-grant program.

This micro-grant will mainly support the implementation of a protocol to measure the quantity of nitrates in the water sources near big factory farms in the region and the presentation of the results to decision makers and the public.

Amigues de la Terra València is an NGO that is part of a bigger Spanish organisation and a European federation fighting for climate justice and food sovereignty. Since November 2021,they have been raising awareness about the harms of industrial farming in their region. More and more pig factory farms are setting in in small rural areas.This has caused many issues to the local population such as deteriorated access to clean water, olfactory nuisances, lack of public services and land grabbing by large corporations.
